Embraer, a leading aerospace company based in Brazil, recently celebrated its 55th anniversary by unveiling a new entrance gate at its main industrial complex, the Ozires Silva Unit, in São José dos Campos. This aircraft, which was previously located in an internal area of the company, is now prominently displayed closer to the avenue that provides access to the factory and the city’s airport. The placement of the Bandeirante aircraft at the entrance gate serves as a tribute to the company’s rich history and its pioneering spirit.
Luis Carlos Marinho, Executive Vice President & COO at Embraer, expressed his excitement about the new entrance gate, stating that it symbolizes the takeoff of a dream that became a reality. The Ozires Silva Unit, formerly known as the first Embraer factory, has played a pivotal role in the company’s history.
